I am extremely sorry for the lack of posts last week.
I knew I was missing, but I was more concerned with other things
anyways, started working on the first of the paintings:

It’s about time I start painting things again.
I haven’t done a painting series since I worked on the monsters, so it’s about time.
here are 3 concepts for what I’m hoping will be a 5 painting series 
I don’t have a title for the series as a whole yet, though I’ve been throwing ideas around.
each concept has a working title along with an assigned color scheme, the other two will be yellow and violet
I’m going to make them in watercolor first and then if I’m still feeling up to it I might give oils a try.

oh and here’s the original before any work was done:
I used a single round sable brush for most of the work… and came in for some details with a micron… and yes I did use crappy copy paper… how could you tell?
Also going to test out pens with nibs, charcoal, and pencil believe it or not.
